Finance Minister Sri Mulyani has been taking a more optimistic view of economic recovery by implementing expanded B20 mandatory program.

The Indonesian Oil Palm Estate Fund (BPDPKS) is supporting the Trade Expo Indonesia (TEI) 2018 which will be held on 24-28 October 2018. The event initiated by Trade Ministry will be held at Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) Bumi Serpong Damai (BSD) City, Tangerang, Banten.

TRADE Ministry will hold Trade Expo Indonesia (TEI) 2018 on 24-28 October 2018 to promote Indonesian trade commodities, including palm oil product and its derivatives. The event initiated by Trade Ministry and sponsored by the Indonesian Oil Palm Estate Fund (BPDPKS) will be held at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) Bumi Serpong Damai (BSD) City, Tangerang, Banten.

The Government has enacted law No 30 year 2016 on Energy to regulate provision and utilization of energy in a sustainable way.

At least 67 oil palm companies, including two farmer self-help cooperatives, have been granted Indonesia Sustainable Palm Oil (ISPO) certificates, giving them a recognition for adopting sustainable plantation.

PT Pertamina (Persero) has been attempting to boost the distribution of biodiesel B20 to all parts of the Indonesian archipelago since the government launched expanded B20 mandatory program on 1 September 2018. Pertamina has set the fuel terminal of Tanjung Uban in Riau Islands Province as the main hub of Fatty Acids Methyl Esters (FAME) to deliver to northern Sumatera, southern Sumatera, and western Kalimantan.

COORDINATING Minister of Economic Affairs Darmin Nasution reiterated his view that impact of mandatory B20 policy can be seen on trade balance for September 2018.

PT Pertamina (Persero) has allocated biodiesel B20 to 69 fuel terminals as yet, showing an increasing number of terminal used since the government launched extended B20 mandatory policy on 1 September 2018. Pertamina\`s Logistics, Supply Chain, and Infrastructure Director Gandhi Sriwidodo said at the beginning of implementation of the policy, Pertamina allocated B20 only to 60 fuel terminals.

President Joko Widodo called the Senate of the Czech Republic to support palm oil in Europe, since it is a sensitive commodity for millions people in Indonesia. The President\'s statement came as he met Czech Republic Senate delegates at Presidential Palace, Jakarta, Monday (17/9/2018).

The government is confident that PT Pertamina (Persero) is able to complete its part in implementing the government\'s extended B20 mandatory program by the end of the year.
