Research on Palm Oil Should Notice Factor of Externalities

Indonesian Coordinating Economic Minister Darmin Nasution ordered palm oil stakeholders to notice factor of externalities in taking action, including in conducting research, as palm oil sector is unique and affected by external factors. "It is deemed necessary for the Indonesia Oil Palm Plantation Fund Management Agency (BPDPKS) to notice factor of externalities in supporting research on palm oil.

BPDPKS Exhibits Research on Palm Oil

The Indonesia Oil Palm Plantation Fund Management Agency (BPDPKS) held an event called Indonesian Palm Oil Research Week 2019 in Jakarta, Thursday (1/8/2019), showcasing the best accomplishments and pioneering results of BPDPKS-funded research and innovation actions. Around 500 participants from palm oil industry joined visitors in the exhibition area which displaying the results of cutting-edge research projects alongside innovative products and services. BPDPKS has collaborated with with more than 25 public and private universities, 15 non-university research institutes, 501 senior researchers, and 256 students.

CPOPC Reaffirms its Commitment to Challenge EU\'s Delegated Act

The Ministers from palm oil producing countries met in Kuala Lumpur, Tuesday (16/7/2019), to discuss a number of issues related to the palm oil industry, including international trade policies and market access, business and smallholder engagements, and the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Darmin Nasution and Minister of Primary Industries of Malaysia Teresa Kok co-chaired the 7th Ministerial Meeting of Council of Palm Oil Producing Countries (CPOPC).
