BPDPKS Conducts Stakeholder Satisfaction Survey

THE Indonesian Oil Palm Estate Fund (BPDPKS) is conducting survey/questionnaire to stakeholder in order to improve BPDPKS service performance and to find out stakeholder satisfaction. The survey will be conducted to some stakeholder from government/ministries, companies, associations, academics, farmers, and others that are currently in touch with BPDPKS. On an official letter numbered S 41/DPKS.1.2/2018, Head of General and Human Resources Division of BPDPKS Suharman said the survey will be conducted by third party, Markplus, in order to remain confidential and to ensure data validity.

Indonesian Embassy in Brussels Holds Palm Oil Dialogue With the EU

INDONESIAN Embassy in Brussels, Belgium organized an informal multi-stakeholders dialogue on sustainable palm oil in order to strengthen Indonesian diplomacy. Themed "Developments on the Indonesian Sustainable Palm Oil: Charting the Way Forward to Strengthen Indonesia-European Union Relations," the dialogue was attended by stakeholders in Europe, included European Commission, European Parliament, representatives from several ministries of the EU countries, ambassadors of palm oil producing countries in Brussels, palm oil association in the EU, academics, and NGOs. Talking on the occasion were Deputy Minister for Food and Agriculture, Coordinating Ministry of Economic Affairs Musdhalifah Machmud and Director General Forestry and Environmental Governance at Ministry of Environment and Forestry Sigit Hardwinarto. The informal dialogue was held to provide updated information on the achievement and progress that government has achieved on sustainable palm oil.

Govt to Issue Technical Recommendation of Oil Palm Replanting for 45 Thousand Ha

MINISTRY of Agriculture has set a target to issue technical recommendation for replanting 45,000 hectare of oil palm plantation in 2018. "Our target is to issue technical recommendation for 45,000 hectare," Director General of Plantation at Ministry of Agriculture Bambang said at a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) with the theme Smallholders\' Oil Palm Plantation Replanting Program 2019 Outlook: Hope and Challenge in Bandung, Friday (7/12/2018). Bambang said the government has cut down requirements to be met by smallholders who will join the replanting program.
