FAME Distribution Reach 2,42 Million KL

Director General of New Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Rida Mulyana has revealed that distribution of Fatty Acid Methyl Ester (FAME), the bio content of B20, has reached 2,42 million kiloliters (KL) by 24 October 2018 of the allocation target of 3,91 million KL. He said, it is a good achievement as it shows significant progress dispite the fact that there are a number of obstacles.

Palm Oil Supplies Adequate to Develop B100

Current national palm oil supplies is believed to be adequate to meet biofuel demand, including to develop biodiesel 100% (B100). "We don\'t stop in B20, the government\'s plan to implement biodiesel 100% may be reached with the support of palm oil production," Dedi Junaidi, Director Crop Production and Sales, Agriculture Ministry in Pekanbaru, Riau, Tuesday (23/10/2018) as reported by RRI. In a couples of years to come, Dedi said, palm oil production may increase as replanting of old trees is underway.
