Indonesian Journalist Association (PWI) of Central Kalimantan in collaboration with Indonesian Palm Oil Association (GAPKI) will organized a workshop on palm oil industry for journalist and netizens.
This workshop aims to enhance journalists\' knowledge and awareness on the national palm oil industry, as well as to build a positive perception of the industry that is important for national economic growth.
The workshop will be held in Palangka Raya on 30 August 2018.
COORDINATING Minister of Economic Affairs Darmin Nasution expected the government\'s oil palm tree replanting program could be accelerated to cover 20 thousand hectares each month.
"We hope and expect the replanting program could reach 20 thousand hectares per month in each province," Darmin said as he talked with representatives of the Central Board of the Indonesian Oil Palm Farmers Association (Apkasindo) at his office in Jakarta, Thursday (9/8/2018).
Apkasindo agreed with Darmin to accelerate the program.
PRESIDENT Joko Widodo is expected to sign a new Presidential Regulation (Perpres) on expanding the mandatory use of 20 percent biodiesel blend (B20) fuel.
