Journalists and Netizens in Central Kalimantan Enhance Knowledge on Palm Oil

Indonesian Journalist Association (PWI) of Central Kalimantan in collaboration with Indonesian Palm Oil Association (GAPKI) will organized a workshop on palm oil industry for journalist and netizens. This workshop aims to enhance journalists\' knowledge and awareness on the national palm oil industry, as well as to build a positive perception of the industry that is important for national economic growth. The workshop will be held in Palangka Raya on 30 August 2018.

Oil Palm Replanting is Expected to Cover 20 Thousand Hectares a Month

COORDINATING Minister of Economic Affairs Darmin Nasution expected the government\'s oil palm tree replanting program could be accelerated to cover 20 thousand hectares each month. "We hope and expect the replanting program could reach 20 thousand hectares per month in each province," Darmin said as he talked with representatives of the Central Board of the Indonesian Oil Palm Farmers Association (Apkasindo) at his office in Jakarta, Thursday (9/8/2018). Apkasindo agreed with Darmin to accelerate the program.

Adaro Uses Biodiesel on Mining Equipment

PT Adaro Energy Tbk has been using biodiesel fuel for heavy equipment and machinery in their mines, namely biodiesel B10, B15, and also B20 which is still on trial. General Manager External Relation PT Adaro Indonesia Rizki Dartaman said at least 1.500 machinery unit operated at the mining site in Tanjung Regency, South Kalimantan has been using B10 and B15.

The government of Indonesia has enacted Regulation of The Minister of Finance of The Republic of Indonesia Number 81/PMK.05/2018 regarding Service Tariffs to the Public Service Agency (BLU) for the Indonesia Oil Palm Estate Fund (BPDPKS) at the Ministry of Finance. The tariffs regulation sets out the tariffs of levies for exports of palm oil and crude palm oil (CPO), including their respective derivative products.
